Go under the Options menu and choose Preferences. Go to the section marked Applications and Directories. Hit the Browse button next to the Telnet application and then find your telnet application, either Host Presenter or NCSA Telnet, or whatever you use to log into your UNIX servers. Choose OK. Now try to chat and it should work just fine.
